I am KUNYUI YVONNE, a Ph.D. research fellow in the University of Maroua. I am a Cameroonian, born on 10 October, 1986 at Babungo-Ndop precisely in the Babessi Subdivision of Ngoketunjia Division, North West Region, Cameroon.
As far as my educational life is concerned, I defended my MA in English Language in 2019 with my dissertation entitled “A Comparative Assessment of the English Linguistic Competence of Uppersixth and Terminale Students in the Far North Region”. This was after I graduated with a Secondary and High School Teacher’s Diploma (DIPES II) in English Language and Literature of English Expression from ENS Maroua in 2017 with my dissertation centered on “The Implementation of the Competency Based Approach (CBA) in English Language Teaching: Challenges and Perspectives”
In 2015 I graduated with a Secondary School Teacher’s Diploma (DIPES I) in English Language and Literature of English Expression in ENS Maroua after obtaining my bachelor’s degree in English Language from the University of Yaounde I. Equally I hold a Private Secondary School Teacher’s Diploma in English Language Teaching from the Higher Teachers Training College of Bamibili, University of Bamenda 2008. My secondary and High school studies were done in GBHS Ndop where I had my GCE Advanced Level in 2008 with 3 papers, two years after passing my GCE Ordinary Level in 8 subjects.
Presently I am an English Language teacher in GBHS Maroua and have equally taught in other schools such as Model Secondary and High School Santa, Bamenda and Lycée Technique de Maroua. I am skillful in teaching; analytical thinking, writing, and computing. .
Language wise, I am proficient in the four skills of English Language, basic in the French Language, proficient in West African Pidgin and Some Cameroonian Languages.
