FOMBO Emmanuel holds a Master's Degree in English and Commonwealth Studies. He defended his Master's Dissertation entitled The Influence of spoken English varieties in the English Learning process in Cameroon. Supervised by Professor Ladislas Nzesse in 2017, University of Dschang, Cameroon. Currently, Fombo is a Ph. D student in the University of Maroua, Cameroon. His Ph. D thesis is entitled; Internet Linguistics: An Investigation of Hate Language on Social Media by Cameroonians. Supervisors: Professor Daniel Nkemleke and Professor Apuge Michael Etuge.
Fombo obtained his Bachelor's Degree in 2015, University of Dschang, Cameroon, Advanced Level Certificate in 2011, Cameroon College of Arts Science and Technology (CCAST Bambili). Ordinary Level Certificate in 2009, Government Secondary School M'muock-Alou. And, Ordinary Level in 2003, Government School Apang-M'muock Fosimondi.
His Current research interest include, Language used online and conflict management, Hate speech and its implication in Sub-Saharan Africa and Using pictures/images to improve students English proficiency at the primary and secondary levels.
Fombo is a Graduate Assistant in the University of Maroua. Fombo teaches major English Language Courses in the Faculty of Arts Letters and Social Sciences, Department of English Language and Literature, and he equally teaches Bilingual Training to Psychology, Philosophy and Geography students at the Faculty.
