Comfort Beyang Oben Ojongnkpot (PhD), is a Senior Lecturer of English /Linguistics at the University of Buea, Cameroon. Her sound educational background has given her a wider horizon to approach research from diverse perspectives with interests that include: Sociolinguistics, Digital Humanities, Corpus Linguistics, Urban Youth Languages, ESL/EFL, Discourse Analysis, Language, Culture, and identity, Bilingualism, Language and Gender, Language and Migration. She has been an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Post-Doctoral Guest researcher at TU, Chemnitz, Germany. Her versatility in scholarship is exemplified not only by her membership to a host of academic associations, but also her numerous participation in conferences and workshops in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. These have resulted in publications in reputable scientific journals and books. Comfort is member of editorial board of two international journals. She is a book reviewer and especially enjoys speaking in public.
